New, plastic on handle, Wilson BLX2 Pro Staff 95S tennis racket in a midplus 95 square inch head in a 4 3/8 grip. The PS 95S weighs 11 ounces unstrung and is 27 inches long. It is balanced at 31 cm. The BLX2 Pro Staff 95S features Wilson's Spin Effect Technology, Wilson's Amplifeel technology, and a Wilson synthetic perforated grip.
The BLX2 Pro Staff combines the legendary braided graphite feel with Wilson's new BLX technology which incorporates fibers of basalt, a natural volcanic rock, longitudinally into the Karophite Black. According to Wilson, the result is a significant reduction in vibrations in the racquet. The Pro Staff 95S is a double braided graphite construction and includes Kevlar for more power, durability, and a quiet solid feel.
Recommended string tension is 54 to 64 lbs on this 16X15 string pattern. With a stiffness of 64(tested on my Babolat RDC), a straight box beam width of 18 mm.
A midplus head size of 95, and a weight of 11 ounces; I would recommend this racket for intermediate+ players with medium+ swing lengths and speeds who want to swing aggressively and add tons of spin to the ball without worrying about losing control.
